About Our Family

In our travels we have been to Texas, and the state of Washington and Washington dc area. We have indeed met people who we will stay in touch will forever:)The hardest part of being in the military is making good friends and having to move and say good-bye :( We are staying out on the East coast, Virginia to be exact!!!

My kids are my world and id be so lost without them. They drive me to do better each day and never fail to make me smile each and everyday :)They are my everything!

On July 24th, 2006, Jacob came into our lives. What an amazing kid he has become, now 5 years later. So far, we have been blessed as he has not had any complications due to his severe hemophilia. I still give him his factor through his mediport which he will recieve for the rest of his life. Its hard to believe he is in kindergarden now which he absolutely LOVES!He's such a funny smart boy!I am so proud of him!

I am so grateful for my family and friends back home as we miss them all so very much .

Miss Cora arrived April 23rd, 2010 and what a blessing she is:)She is so funny and is such a fast learner!!! She definitely keeps us all on our toes :) She amazes me each and everyday and she is growing waaaaay to fast right before our eyes. She is gonna be a talker (just like her brother).
We are expecting a 3rd addition to our family late February :)

I LOVE YOU JACOB AND CORA.....YOU TWO KEEP ME GOING :)

NeW RuIz On BoArD

So as you can see I am pregnant. We are SUPER excited as it wasnt planned. We were thinking about waiting until we moved again. But it definitely brings some light into this year. And to think that im due right before my grandma (who passed away this past April) birthday. I miss her SOOOOOOO much but know that she is up there with my other grandparents watching over us and has a close eye on the new little one :) I didnt have her or my other grandparents calling me this time knowing already that I was pregnant like with Jacob.
So far things are going well. I had an ultrasound yesterday which showed things were how they should be and the baby was implanted in the upper part of my uterus! On sept 14th after a 4 HOUR orientation class I have another ultrasound;all of which Jacob has to tag along. So that should be an interesting day and I hopefully will be able to post the first ultrasound pic, which I should be about 8 1/2 weeks. The doc said that the heart should start to beat on its own any day now.
Im still super nervous since I had a miscarriage in January, but we are really hopeful that things we work out and we will have a healthy baby girl or boy. Jonathan of course wants a boy. Jacob SAYS its a girl. Im kinda hopeful for a girl, although Jacob is such a crazy, silly, funny, loveable kid that I wouldnt mind another boy. But honestly as long as they are happy and healthy, Id be head over heals happy and grateful for whatever it may be :)
Jacob has surprisingly been so excited and keeps looking out the window asking when the baby's coming home (LOL). He doesnt quite understand yet that the baby's inside still.
