About Our Family

In our travels we have been to Texas, and the state of Washington and Washington dc area. We have indeed met people who we will stay in touch will forever:)The hardest part of being in the military is making good friends and having to move and say good-bye :( We are staying out on the East coast, Virginia to be exact!!!

My kids are my world and id be so lost without them. They drive me to do better each day and never fail to make me smile each and everyday :)They are my everything!

On July 24th, 2006, Jacob came into our lives. What an amazing kid he has become, now 5 years later. So far, we have been blessed as he has not had any complications due to his severe hemophilia. I still give him his factor through his mediport which he will recieve for the rest of his life. Its hard to believe he is in kindergarden now which he absolutely LOVES!He's such a funny smart boy!I am so proud of him!

I am so grateful for my family and friends back home as we miss them all so very much .

Miss Cora arrived April 23rd, 2010 and what a blessing she is:)She is so funny and is such a fast learner!!! She definitely keeps us all on our toes :) She amazes me each and everyday and she is growing waaaaay to fast right before our eyes. She is gonna be a talker (just like her brother).
We are expecting a 3rd addition to our family late February :)

I LOVE YOU JACOB AND CORA.....YOU TWO KEEP ME GOING :)

Man is it raining!!!!

So yea, its been raining cats and dogs since early this morning. Its suppose to be raining until Sunday night. Everything is getting so flooded already since the melted snow has saturated the ground so heavily as it is and there are still spots where the snow hasnt melted all the way yet even though we have had high temps for a couple weeks now.
Its hard to believe i will be 34 weeks 2morrow and I dont see how I will make it to 40 weeks. I am excited for my appointment on Monday as I have been in pain but im pretty sure its from the stairs and taking the laundry up and down. I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore! I feel like a big beached whale although many people say I dont look bad, but then again who in their right mind would tell a pregnant woman that they look like a whale, right! LOL.
To say the least it has been a crazy few weeks. Most recently, we had to race to take Jonathan to the er as he pretty much passed out and thought for sure he was going to die. Ive never seen anyone get the way that he was. It was so nerve-wracking driving to the hospital which was only 10 minutes away but it seemed like FOREVER. He collapsed once we got in there and I was trying to balance holding him up, which was dead weight and making sure Jacob was with me. Luckily a guy helped me once inside while the lady(who took forever)to bring over the wheel chair for him to sit in.That definitely did a toll on my back. We arrived at a little after 10am and didnt get home until 6:30! Jacob did sooooo good. There wasnt 1 person who didnt comment on well he was behaving and cute he was. The nurse kept bringin us snacks and milk and water since we werent allowed to leave since Jonathan was in such bad condition. The wierdest and most annoyin part of the whole day was ALL the tests they did-blood and heart-came back normal which doesnt at all explain why he was the way he was. So he also had a sore throat and they did a swab and didnt even send it in to see if he did have strep throat but they just "clinically diagnosed" him strep and sent him home with antibiotics. He did have a fever when he went in and they gave him iv antibiotics as well as sent him home with a prescription. it was such a long day I hope never happens again.I guess tho in a way it kinda prepared Jacob for the long day/days when his sister is born!
As far as being pregnant, i think I get clumsier everyday. I cant tell you the last time I got a full nights sleep without wakin up what seems like million times. Once I wake up, it takes FOREVER to fall asleep. I cant see my feet, which makes the stairs even more difficult.
Ill post an update Monday after my appointment which I am hoping will go well. Its not until 230 so it wont be til later in the day!
