About Our Family

In our travels we have been to Texas, and the state of Washington and Washington dc area. We have indeed met people who we will stay in touch will forever:)The hardest part of being in the military is making good friends and having to move and say good-bye :( We are staying out on the East coast, Virginia to be exact!!!

My kids are my world and id be so lost without them. They drive me to do better each day and never fail to make me smile each and everyday :)They are my everything!

On July 24th, 2006, Jacob came into our lives. What an amazing kid he has become, now 5 years later. So far, we have been blessed as he has not had any complications due to his severe hemophilia. I still give him his factor through his mediport which he will recieve for the rest of his life. Its hard to believe he is in kindergarden now which he absolutely LOVES!He's such a funny smart boy!I am so proud of him!

I am so grateful for my family and friends back home as we miss them all so very much .

Miss Cora arrived April 23rd, 2010 and what a blessing she is:)She is so funny and is such a fast learner!!! She definitely keeps us all on our toes :) She amazes me each and everyday and she is growing waaaaay to fast right before our eyes. She is gonna be a talker (just like her brother).
We are expecting a 3rd addition to our family late February :)

I LOVE YOU JACOB AND CORA.....YOU TWO KEEP ME GOING :)

TONS of pictures from our trip

for now here are pics from our trip.we left sunday and got back yesterday.the little munchkins awake so i cant type rgt now but will soon!!! For now.....enjoy the pics...........

So on Sunday which was the day we left, Miss Cora had cereal for the first time and man was she ready. It was amazing how much she LOVED it. She would open her mouth as the spoon was coming towards her mouth. She ate it all. Then since I ran outta breastmilk to mix in with it, I just used cold water from the fridge and she still loved it!!! What a little piggy she is. She can eat almost 2 bowls of it, although I just let her eat one for breakfast then one before bed. i thought for sure with a full belly she would sleep better..........NOPE!!! She still wakes up 2 times at night. And this morning she was up at 6:15. She is sleeping tho for now anyways so im gonna try to type as much as I can!!!
So we went to colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. We had originally planned to go to Busch Gardens since its free for military to get in but naturally this was the first week that they started to only be open thursday thru sunday! I dont think we could ever go on a trip that actually went the way we wanted it to go. Oh well. For the most part we had an ok time and got to see some things that will be cool for the kids to say theyve been to when they learn about it in school one day.
Miss Cora is not at all the traveler. She was soooo fussy and cranky the whole time. She didn't sleep longer than an hour at a time at the hotel and was up at 6:30 each day!!! So the opposite of how Jacob was when he was little. he still likes to travel although he is much less patient(hmm, wonder where he gets that from....LOL :) ).Jacob did very well considering all the walking we did.
He volunteered and go to see and hear a mortar go off. he was the youngest to volunteer and afterwards everyone came up to him and told him what a good job he did. It was so cute cuz he was so embarrassed and got the silliest smile :)
We agreed we are not goin on a trip for a while!!!!
Yesterday was opening season for deer hunting, so Jon went with his bow and arrow. He took a couple shots but missed.i dont like the idea that hes trying to kill a deer but its what he wants. i just told him theres no way hes puttin the deer head on our walls. Its too sad. He is gonna go again today so we will see how he does. Now that he has a better idea of what to do.
I finally got everything pretty much unpacked and washed so now I desperately need to go grocery shoppin. Our fridge has never been this empty since we moved over here, its sad!!!
Jacob is lovin his Little Gym class and is actually doing so well learning all the karate terms and moves. He is paying more attention. ugh, I really wish he could get into a free preschool. It sucks how expensive they are. He is so ready for school its just sad how the school systems work around here.
Jonathan has been hearin A LOT that he is prolly gonna be going to Afghanistan in January. They are needing mike-6's(LPN's) to go and he is one of a few that are fit and able to go . Plus he's been home over 2 years now which is unheard of to be home that long without going again. Financially we need for him to go but its just sad that he would miss the same things with Cora that he did with Jacob. We decided that I would for sure move back to California if he does go, although we really dont want our stuff to be in storage as we remember all to well how nasty things get in storage.
the lil chunky monkeys awake so i gotta go for now!!!jacob should be wakin up soon too anyways!
